The short version
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any cross-site tracking on this website. We set only the small number of cookies needed to make the site work. That is why you are not being asked to click through a consent banner: under EU law consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary, and we do not set any. We do count page views — see How we measure traffic — using a tool that sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, pixels — do the same job, and everything in this policy applies to them too.
What we set

verify: this table must be generated from an actual audit of the built site, and re-audited on every release. A cookie policy that does not match reality is worse than none.
How we measure traffic
We use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by the same company that hosts this website and therefore already receives every request you make to it. It:
- sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device;
- does not track you across other websites;
- does not collect or store your IP address in identifiable form;
- produces aggregate statistics only — page views, referrers, country, and broad device type;
- is not shared onward. It is processed by our hosting provider, who is already named in our list of sub-processors, and is disclosed to no one else.
We keep these aggregate statistics for no longer than placeholder: 25 months.
Third parties
placeholder: state honestly whether any embedded content — video, maps, fonts — is loaded from a third party. If yes, name it and explain. Recommendation: self-host everything, which is also what the product does.
Your controls
Because we set only strictly necessary cookies, there is nothing here to consent to or withdraw. You can still block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work, though your language preference will not be remembered.
If this changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first, through a banner that lets you refuse as easily as accept and that lets you choose categories individually. We will update this policy before doing so.
