The meter is the number of hosts that appear in the Regulaxy inventory. It is a number you already count, that the product itself reports, and that you can verify before you ever speak to us. User count does not affect it, and patch count certainly does not — a model that charges more the more you patch is a model that argues against the product's own purpose.

The structure below is the commercial model. The amounts themselves are not yet approved for publication, so they appear here as an explicit marker rather than as a number. A quote request comes back with a firm figure against your own host count.
The meter
What counts as a managed host.
This rule is written so that you never have to ask it. If anything here is not unambiguous for your estate, that is our error and we would like to fix it.
Definition
Managed host
A host that appears in the Regulaxy inventory and can be selected into a maintenance window. The count is produced by the product itself, not by us, and you see it on the same screen we do.
Counted once
- A host that appears in the inventory and can be attached to a window.
- A host that appears in several inventory tables counts once. The product resolves it to a single row on its first DNS label, so two spellings of one machine are not two hosts.
- A physical server and a virtual machine count the same. There is no difference between them in the coordination work.
Not counted
- A host removed from the inventory. It stops counting at the next renewal, not mid-term.
- Databases and network equipment selected into a window. They are part of the event, not units of the meter.
- Users. There is no per-user fee and no cap on how many you have.
- Windows, events or patches per year.
Commercial decisions still to be confirmed
- Whether non-production environments count at full rate, at a reduced rate, or not at all.
- Whether DR hosts that appear in the inventory but have never been scheduled count.
- The overage mechanism. The commitment is that the product never stops working because of a licence count, and the true-up happens at renewal; the exact wording is pending approval.
Until those lines are settled, a quote will state them explicitly rather than leave them to interpretation.

Before we talk about price — what does coordination cost you today?
The coordination-cost calculator runs the arithmetic on your own numbers. It runs entirely in the browser, sends nothing anywhere, and every assumption in it is visible and editable.
Procurement
How this actually goes in a regulated organisation.
There is no self-serve purchase for a product installed on a separated network, so there is no buy button here. There is a path, and it looks like this.
Fit call
Forty minutes. Estate size, who the users are, and what has to work with no internet. By the end we both know whether there is a fit, and we will say so if there is not.
Defined POC
30 to 60 days, with success criteria agreed in writing up front and a named engineer. A POC without exit criteria is a POC that never ends.
Security review
Architecture document, network boundary, dependency and sub-processor policy — sent before you ask. Answering in advance turns a six-week round into two.
Quote and PO
An itemised quote with a validity date, against a host count you can see in the product. Then contract, then installation.
The procurement documents — DPA, sub-processor list, insurance certificates — are available at the quote stage.
