People search

A screen for one question: who is this person and how do you reach them. You can type a first and last name in either order, an email address, a username or an employee id. Two characters minimum.

It is deliberately the same search the scheduling wizard's contact picker runs, so "search used to find this person" cannot be true on one screen and false on the other.

The card shows email, phone, title, department, username and employee id. The manager is a button: clicking it runs the search for them, which is how you walk up a reporting line.

Results are capped at 60. When the search is truncated the screen says so and asks you to narrow it, instead of presenting a partial list as a complete one.

With no directory connection the screen runs on a demo directory and says so in a permanent banner. Presenting fictional people as live directory results is a worse failure than an error message.
