Reclaimable capacity

The screen gives capacity back without buying anything, and only from claims that survive the fact that the product has no load measurement: lifecycle, placement and warranty.

The categories overlap, and the totals are distinct

A machine marked for disposal is very often also out of warranty, so it appears on two rows. The header prints both numbers explicitly — "N rows · M distinct machines" — and every total of units, power and memory is computed over the distinct set rather than over the rows. A total that counted one chassis twice is a reclaim figure someone will plan a room around.

What can be done from the screen

Selecting rows opens exactly one action: Schedule activity for the selected servers, which continues into the scheduling wizard with the servers already selected. The selection is capped at 50 servers, and the number that will be dropped is stated in the confirmation dialog before scheduling.

There is no bulk reclaim action and there will not be one. The system does not power machines off, and a button that looked as though it might is worse than no button.
