Keyboard shortcuts
Every key combination in the console, including the global search keys, and what happens to them on a Hebrew keyboard layout.
? opens the shortcut list from inside the product, on any screen. The list here is that same list, plus the global-search keys it does not show.
Navigation
| Keys | What happens |
|---|---|
Ctrl + B · or [ | Collapse or expand the sidebar |
F | Favorite a screen while it has focus in the app launcher. Favorites also appear at the top of the sidebar |
Search
| Keys | What happens |
|---|---|
Ctrl + K · or / | Open global search. Works on every screen, including inside settings |
Ctrl + Shift + K | Open search straight into actions mode |
/ is only captured when the cursor is not in a text field — otherwise a slash could not be typed.
Inside the search window
| Keys | What happens |
|---|---|
↑ · ↓ | Move between results |
Ctrl + ↑ · ↓ | Jump to the next or previous result group instead of the next row |
Enter | Open the highlighted result |
Ctrl + Enter | Open the highlighted result in a new tab |
Tab | Narrow the search to the highlighted row's category |
Backspace in an empty box | Clear the category narrowing |
Ctrl + Backspace | Clear the text and the narrowing together |
| Forward arrow at the end of the text | Open the highlighted row's actions. The back arrow closes them |
Esc | Close. If the actions list is open, the first press closes only that |
The forward arrow is the physical key pointing in the reading direction, so it is the right arrow in English and the left arrow in Hebrew. It is only captured once the caret is already at the end of the text, so it never takes caret movement mid-word.
Prefixes in the search box
| Prefix | What it searches |
|---|---|
> | Actions |
# | Screens and settings |
@ | Data |
Tables
| Keys | What happens |
|---|---|
Shift + click on a column header | Add another column to the sort instead of replacing it. A small number beside the arrow gives the sort level |
Ctrl + Enter | Save a comment in a cell without reaching for the mouse. A plain Enter starts a new line inside the comment |
General
| Keys | What happens |
|---|---|
? | Open the shortcut list |
Esc | Close a dialog, a menu or a floating panel |
Single-character shortcuts — ?, / and the [ bracket — do not fire while the cursor is in a text field. Combinations with Ctrl still do. F is not a global shortcut at all: it acts only while the focus sits on a tile in the app launcher.
